Possibly my first movie was Bambi (a rerun, not the original airing in the 1940s!). BTW, looking that up I see that it was based on a book.

I went to Tarzan and TPM in 1999… yes, as a one-year old. 😆

I never understood people who take babies into movie theaters. They’re just asking for a bad time!

We took my (at the time) 2-year-old cousin to The Hulk in ’08. We were the only ones in there, so we could make as much noise as we wanted. She wasn’t heavy enough to sit in the fold down chairs. So it folded up on her. She didn’t cry she just looked surprised 😆

When I went to see the Lego Movie these little kids kept walking around the seats and eating and being overall obnoxious and I was like fml

    LOL

Well their dad was there and he yelled at them a few times but not much changed…. Well I guess it’s kind of expected since Lego Movie has a younger target audience so..

Well the parents should still be able to teach their kids to sit still for 90 minutes when they’re in a public place where you’re supposed to shut up. Otherwise maybe they’re not old enough to watch a movie anywhere but at home.

The local cinema does baby friendly showings (lower volume, house lights not totally down) and obviously anyone going to them expects little kids being little kids and babies crying occasionally. Outside of those yeah, I expect parents either to be able to keep their kids under control or not take them until they can. Everyone else paid to watch and listen to the movie.

First movie I saw I have no idea but first movies I remember seeing were Star Wars and Jaws
We have kids running all over the store jumping on the display beds the parents drop them off in the toy department and go shopping or like the one day the parents opened up a play tent and had a party with their kids in the back of the toy department

Banshee, IDEK how my parents took me. But I was an extremely quiet baby so I probably slept through them 😛

I haven’t been to an animated movie in years, other than The LEGO Movie, so I was a little annoyed by the large amount of children. There was one kid sitting near us who pretty much repeated any funny part of a movie and it was just

    MD, gah… children.

First movie I ever saw was Saving Private Ryan as a newborn. 😆

I went and saw both the LEGO Movie and Mr Peabody and Sherman, both kids movies, and there were kids in there and despite a few shouts before the movie started they were all fine. Then when I went and saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier I was sat in front of a bunch of of older teenagers who were talking during the movie, swearing and just generally being obnoxious, I guess it just goes to show that it’s not always the little kids.

Looks like there’s a Rebels page on SW.com not much new content though I don’t think just the propaganda posters, teasers, and character videos

According to Rebels Report on Twitter, there will be tie-in books and one involves Ezra and Bossk.

BOTH ANIMATION STYLES RESEMBLE EACH OTHER. REBELS IS BASED ON TCW’S. This is ridiculous.

Based on but cheaper. It’s what I was expecting, because Disney aren’t going to spend a penny more than they have to on a show for XD. All the gushing about Ralph McQuarrie concept art was a publicity exercise, nothing more. Frankly my expectations are already so low I don’t get upset about any of it.

It feels like the same engine, but again they took the cartoon look out of the drawing for Rebels. Here are two things that would have made this show better, make the entire show a cartoon based of the Ralph drawings, and something set dead on between III and IV, no precursor….

And does anyone feel that Disney logo is just annoying?

Its a pretty decent logo placement to me… It could be right above the title in the middle of the page.

The logo is also predictable and standard corporate practice. Does feel like rubbing our noses in it a bit but for me it helps that the Rebels logo isn’t something I have any attachment to. A Disney logo on anything Clone Wars would seriously annoy me.
