    There are rumors that Universal has secured the rights to Star Trek for use in their parks. I follow Epcot Explorer on Twitter and know him from the Disney park fan site I read. He has a good track record. This could be interesting if true. Universal has been going headlong with expanding their attractions especially in Orlando. They just opened HP phase 2 Diagon Alley while Disney fiddles away 2 billion on wrist bands to “enhance” your park experience. It will be interesting to see what Universal comes up with and how fast they get it into the parks compared to Disney who has sat on the Star Wars IP for nearly two years now park wise.
    On a side note reading Explorer’s twitter stream it seems Disney has angered quite a lot of people by what they did to Club 33 and New Orleans Square in Disneyland. A lot of complaints about forgetting their history and Walt’s legacy. One example
