I like how Ahsoka is doing her own thing and not with the crew, I prefer them just by themselves with maybe a passenger every now and then like Lando or Ahsoka. I hope they follow Ahsoka separately at times though and not just show her when she is around the Ghost Crew though.

Cool preview, now we got a date October 14th Thanksgiving weekend here as well.

Yeah i hope they follow her. It would just make it more like the movies if they did cut between them.

It would be cool to see what Ahsoka does on her own, but I’m not really expecting it. From what DF has said it doesn’t sound like he wants to do stuff that isn’t focused on the Ghost crew.

Doh, forgot to actually watch the preview

I hope we get to follow Ahsoka around while she’s looking for these answers.
Obviously the friend they will find is Rex. Should be interesting to see how Kanan will react the first time he sees him.

Yeah I get the feeling that’s why she said “Trust Him” because I doubt Kanan would trust a clone.

It would be nice to follow Ahsoka searching for these answers about Vader, I wonder how she will go about that? Perhaps try returning to the temple?? Or seek out Obi-Wan?? But she would be stupid to confront him on her own…

But if they don’t follow Ahsoka that much or at all I also won’t be that disappointed, I like the ghost crew and I like the way the story is told not having 100 different plot lines going on is sort of nice and helps everything flow better.

I do like the little Clone Wars stuff added in like the gunship, droid head, the transports the empire uses, the speeder bikes I think Sabine used

Yeah, the speeder Sabine has is a Clone Wars model.

I’m interested in the Rex and Ahsoka storylines but the rest of the main characters are just meh and chopper is still annoying.
    Filoni on season two

Okay Ahsoka will almost surely face Vader this season.

And this top secret character, who could it be? A new character or an OT character. Yoda or Obi-Wan?

Yeah I meant to post the thing about Mace here but if they had a model like this that would be pretty awesome. Mace being alive on like the under levels of coruscant would be kind of cool.

Mace has to be the secret character lol!!! But it may just be Barriss?

He reminds me of Jolee Bindo from KOTOR

The secret character is Barriss, I think. There’s a new female Inquisitor who looks like her.

But what I don’t get is that Season 1’s Inquisitor was the “Grand Inquisitor” and all the others are below him. Why would Barriss be below him? She seems more skilled…

The first one was pretty strong he was just over confident

Wasn’t it already as good as confirmed somewhere that Barriss would appear?

    Grand?

Yeah, DF called him the “Grand Inquisitor” apparently.

Yep, a Mirialan Inquisitor appeared in a magazine.

He could still be alive… Maybe a surprise appearance next season or something, unlikely but way down the road it could be possible

It would be pointless. They’ve already moved on to Vader.

I would be really disappointed if the first Inquisitor ever shows up again…

Grand does sound weird, unless Barriss is Supreme or something 😉 No way I’m buying that that guy is more powerful than Barriss. TCW era Barriss was already stronger than the Inquisitor and she’s only gotten stronger since. She should be more than a match for Kanan and Ezra. Only Ahsoka should be able to beat her.

On Wookieepedia there is a section for Grand Inquisitors, but Kanan’s Inquisitor isn’t mentioned there.

Exactly, Barriss was trained as a Jedi until Knighthood while I doubt that these Inquisitors are given too much training, just in case they won’t betray Vader or Sidious. They’re not meant to be that strong, and S1’s Inquisitor was defeated by Kanan – a man who was only trained as a Padawan and hid his Jedi identity for 15 years. Barriss would destroy them all.

Odd, I read it on Twitter…

Some people theorize that it’s not even Barriss, but Ezra’s mother https://twitter.com/RebelsReport/status/639020604331569152
Also in the video, when DF talks about Ezra’s past they show the female Inquisitor..

Wonder how they found out and what exactly it means.

Yes, the only good guy capable of beating Barriss would be Ahsoka.

Ezra’s mother would really be surprising. I think I probably prefer Barriss though. I’m worried that if it’s Ezra’s mother we just get a copy of the Vader/Luke thing. Unless they actually make Ezra or Kanan or even Ahsoka kill her. That would be interesting.

It being Ezra’s mother would have drama for Ezra. It being Barriss would relate to Ahsoka more, which I’d rather see.

Ahsoka already has Vader though which will completely kick her ass at least Barris might be a decent fight and conflict I guess

That’s true, Ahsoka will probably face Vader. But if Kanan and Ezra can get away from him, so can she.

He was toying with Ezra and Kanan, showing them he’s a lot stronger then the Inquisitor. Vader could probably just choke both of them to death if he wanted, Kanan might be able to resist that possibly with the force but he may not be that strong

Why not just kill them? No, the show just needed a way for them to escape.

Well they for to prolong it but being real here we know Vader could have probably killed both of them right there. However this show may start no longer being about the Ghost Crew and more about the Rebellion as a whole which could be sort of neat even though Vader like single handily destroyed an entire squad and crippled a command ship of the newly formed rebellion…

    “The Lost Commanders”[48] October 14, 2015
“Relics of the Old Republic”[49] October 21, 2015
    “Always Two There Are”[50] October 28, 2015

Episode names for season 2 first three episodes, Lost commanders relate to Rex and Wolffe obviously. I guess the second one has something to do with either Jedi stuff probably also with Rex since the old republic can be considered just TCW now since it isn’t Republic anymore.

The last title is interesting… If it relates more from the Empires perspective that sort of makes no sense given the amount of inquisitors, yet they’re not real Sith but still its borderline close to breaking the rule of 2 even though Palpatine doesn’t care much for it. However if it’s relating to Jedi then maybe Ahsoka considers the new inquisitor to be Vaders apprentice?

However Ahsoka is just a little girl who left the Jedi and really has no knowledge of the Sith and neither would Kanan so that would be out of place if they knew a lot about it.
