It’s getting glitchy so here we go πŸ™‚ I’ll just repost my last reply

It was a terrible political move. Everyone knew it, heck even Cersei knew it. Especially with Jaime in Northern custody. Like Tyrion said. β€œWe had 3 Starks to trade. You chopped one’s head off and let another escape.”

I get the impression from the books that Myrcella and Jaime kinda like their uncle Jaime πŸ˜›

Cersei wanted to stop it but Joffrey said she had the soft heart of a woman.
Robb probably wouldn’t have proclaimed himself King in the North if his dad was sent to the wall. He had already called his banners, but he wanted the North free from Westeros AFTER his dad was executed… if Ned was still alive, Robb would’ve probably worked alongside Stannis because Ned would tell him to do so.

I liked Tyrions plot in the last episode I watched how he found out who was talking to the Queen by telling them different things. He’s my favourite character by far πŸ˜›

Joffrey doesn’t seem to care that much about Jamie though and why is Jamie so important? He’s a soldier, he would die in battle. Ned was at least carrying out something important since Joffrey isn’t a true king but it was in Joffreys best interests to have him silenced.

He is Cersei’s brother and the first born son of one of the oldest families in Westeros so he’s very important.

Ned was going to proclaim Joffrey the true king so there was no need to kill him. And at the Wall he wouldn’t have any influence.

Sending Ned to the Wall would not have made Joffrey an enemy to the North. Literally everyone in Westeros – other than Joffrey – thought that was a bad decision.

Jaime was a Kingsguard and therefore spent quite a bit of time with Cersei and her children. But he never really cared about them.

Right now I think my order of characters I like the most would be.

    1. Tyrion
    2. Jorah
    3. The Kingslayer
    4. Ned Stark
    5. Jon Snow
    6. Robb Stark
    7. The Hound
    8. Arya
    9. Lady Stark (The Mother)

The rest I don’t have much of an opinion or don’t like much at least right now.

I think they would have been enemies anyways after what Jaime did to the boy.

Well IMO Jaime is still a soldier, soldiers die it’s not like if he died it’s the same as being assassinated.

They’ll never be besties, but the Starks don’t know that Jaime pushed Bran and they certainly wouldn’t go to war over it.

He is a soldier, but he’s a very important one. Being the Lannister heir makes him one of the most important people and very valuable as a hostage. Tywin likely would have traded Ned for Jaime.

But if they let Ned live wouldn’t he still have told others what he knew? Like his family they would probably figure out he pushed him I’d think.

Well he would likely trade the girls for him as well but Robb has no reason to accept those terms if he’s winning the war. Robb would have accepted the deal for Ned at the start of the war.

I’m at the start of Season 2, Episode 9. Looks like everything in the wars is coming together.

Ned would have told the others what he knew. Which is why Robb would’ve backed Stannis. I’m just sure that Ned would’ve tried to ensure that Joffrey, Tommen, and Myrcella remain alive even if they’re removed from power. Jaime and Cersei would have to be executed… but Ned would never stand for the killing of children for ANY reason.

Can’t wait till you watch Season 3. Daenerys will be on your Top Ten. πŸ˜€

Battle of Blackwater! That’s a good episode. Stannis really shows how badass he is in that one.

There’s really no way for them to know. Jaime and Cersei are the only ones who know and they’d never admit it. Robb wouldn’t trade two girls for Jaime Lannister. His men would never respect him if he did that. Ned would have to be part of any trade with Jaime. Even if the war had already started, Robb would still trade Jaime for Ned and his sisters. After that even if they’re winning Ned might decide to go home. That’s the reason they started the war after all. It depends a bit on what Ned would think about them proclaiming a King in the North.

I don’t know if Robb would have supported Stannis. With Ned on the Wall and even if Robb knows the truth the Northerners might say that it’s none of our business what the Southerners are doing.

The Northerners have always wanted to be separate but the biggest reason they wanted to separate was Ned’s death. He was tying them (quite closely) to the King. With Ned gone, they hated the king and wanted out of it. If the king had showed mercy and respect, sending Ned to the Wall, would they want to separate?

Why will she be in the top 10? Because she becomes interesting or because too many people die for me to list any of the others?

I finished season 2, battle of Blackwater was probably the best episode I seen yet. I still like Tyrion and Jamie the best actually I like their Father as well they’re all cool except for the Queen.

I’d have liked to see Jamie back in time to lead the defence though

I’ve always liked Dany, but not quite as much as Nam. Nam is the big Dany supporter, I lean a bit more towards Jon πŸ™‚

I’m not sure they would. Robb would be Lord of Winterfell, but I’m sure he’d respect Ned’s wishes and I’m not sure Ned would want his bannermen going to war.

She’s always been interesting. She’ll just be REALLY interesting after Season 3 Episode 4. πŸ˜›

how does one not like Cersei

Would Ned want them to go to war backing Stannis?

How does one like Cersei πŸ˜›

Perhaps out of loyalty/respect for Stannis and in memory of Robert.

I’m not on Season 3, Episode 5. Not much has happened in season 3 yet really. But I’m not half ways through the series exactly. I hope to be caught up before the finale of the latest season.

Finished season 3. It was better than season 1 but not as good as season 2. Tyrion, Tywin and Jaime are my favourites πŸ˜› followed by Jon, Jorah, The Hound and Arya.

Tbh I never really liked the Stark children much except Arya so I don’t care that Robb died much or that his mom died. Don’t care much for the two boys, at least Sansa got better
