    SPOILERS:

Just watched it and got to say it was pretty good but I still find the idea of Echo being back pretty stupid. I mean it would be okay if it was just him I guess but this happens a lot in Star Wars and it’s kind of old now.

Looks like by the time this arc came around the separatist prisoners have been released otherwise Tambor would be in lock up from Ryloth.

Oh and those three legged droids first time we seen those since the Hidden Enemy and before that the Movie I believe so that was kind of neat.

Also I believe Bad Batch was going to be in the Kashyyyk arc.

I like the characters and all but the reasoning for Echo being back is kind of dumb they just have this random device show up now and Rex trying to get it back and all idk just didn’t like that much

I rather liked the moral ambiguity. On the one side we have the Sepies viewing a captured clone as property rather than a person, and experimenting on him. But then there’s the Bad Batch, clones who the Kaminoans view as nothing more than property and experimented on. How different are the two sides when you get right down to it? So I think having Echo be alive was a useful plot device. They need an injured, captured clone and a way for some main characters to find out about and be motivated to rescue him.

Loved it. They really need to finish it just for the battle sequences alone and I’m sure when Wrecker blew up the sepie ship that explosion would have surpassed Point of No Return.
Favorite moment “Just sit tight trooper you’re going home.”

I liked Utapau a bit more tbh. The interaction with Anakin and Kenobi was great.

But nice to see Mace doing something again.

Battle wouldve looked great fully animated. Liked a lot.

Echo is the only clone we’ve had brought back… He, Trench, and Maul are the only ones brought back in-show. As far as a clone we know, he’s the only one possible to get back other than Gregor, who wouldnt have been in bad enough shape physically to be manipulated like that.

I thought it was decent plot device, this algorithm. Its just a playbook. It wouldnt be a big deal in any episode unless it were stolen.

Tambor and others were released in Obi Wan’s bounty hunter mission arc, right?

Yeah. Odd how they made the tri droids fly, but it worked because it reminded me if probe droids.

Also. Jesse is an ARC Trooper now.

Expected a clone to die in this. But they didnt follow that “get you to like this clone then kill him off” formula this round so its good.

Tambor was still in custody up till the Ahsoka season 5 arc cause you can see him along with Poggle and Loathsome on the monitors when she escapes. Filoni explained it as whenever Palps needed one of them he could get them out because he has control of the courts.

I thought they might have Echo sacrifice himself somewhere along the line but yeah no show up and blow up this time.

Couldn’t blow him up again, that wouldn’t be fair 🙂

I can only imagine how this would have looked if it was completed!

I liked the design of Mace’s troops. Very Ponds-esque. RIP Ponds 🙁

Loved how Hunter was clearly based off of Sylvester Stallone from Rambo/First Blood. The knife and hair and all! So awesome!!

It almost looks like they updated Rex’s helpmate with a longer mouth piece. Before it was a smaller one.

Idk looking back I don’t like the arc that much I liked the characters but I think my love for the arc after watching it was just a high from some fresh Clone Wars content not the actual arc it wasn’t that great in comparison.

Enjoyed the arc. Although, I sort of wished they just went and used Delta Squad instead of creating a whole new team. And my gut feeling that Echo would be the last surviving Domino Squad member came true, so I felt happier than usual watching it for being right 😛

Brent Friedman tweeted he is going to ask Filoni
“if I can share the last page of my script on Ep 4, which paid off the Rex/Echo arc.”

I have never really liked the clones… but these “Bad batch” clones were alright. The episodes themselves weren’t really special. They weren’t bad, but not good either for TCW standards (compared to Rebels this was amazing).

Finally got around to watching this. And… http://media0.giphy.com/media/CMvLdjfjQnQAg/giphy.gif

    – Trench’s return wasn’t a one-off I’m surpris-aaaaand he’s dead…

-Good that Mace is still getting roles that weren’t just sitting/standing around. But this is where I’d also use the Jedi diversity argument. And in the first episode why is Cody there? The 212th isn’t his assigned unit. They could have used Neyo considering they spent money on a character model for him including a face that we never saw. How about some clone diversity as well? It was also laughable that the writer tried putting Cody in danger (for obvious reasons).

    – Is the 501st really that bad at planning that they need an algorithm to be reminded of what NOT to do? Screw this plot device. Facepalm worthy that as soon as the algorithm goes back into Republic hands the villains lose.

    – Tambor is out of prison for some reason. And the Techno Union are neutral as well now, so why was he sentenced in the first place? Are Poggle and Loathsome out too?

    – The Techno Union droid designs are interesting, but when two of them block Anakin their programming seems to fail because they don’t shoot together. Instead they wait for the other to finish getting destroyed.

    – Anakin’s reaction to the nose art made me want to slap him. Stop trying to ruin everyone else’s fun.

    – The Skako Minor native species’ voices were terrible.

    – LOL at Echo’s Maul-type legs.

    – The Bad Batch were all very bland and unlikable. There’s nothing unique about them. Really they’re just a regular RC squad being treated a something special to sell toys. Could’ve just used Delta Squad and saved some money.
