Concept Art and Trivia
The Nightsisters offer Count Dooku a glass of blackroot, which is a drink from Willow. You can also chew the roots, but only if you want hairs on your chest (clip).
Katie Lucas was inspired for a world ruled by females by the book Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.
Dooku’s training of Savage is like a dark version of how Yoda trained Luke.
You’ll see that Dooku has the yellow Sith eyes in this arc.
Stephen Stanton better known as Captain Tarkin, Mas Amedda and Moralo Eval provided the voice for Brother Viscus.

I liked Savage pre-transformation. After a while he became really annoying.
Yes, before his transformation he seemed a decent enough person, loyal and protective of his brother.
“I’m not like you. I never was.”
This tells us that pre-transformation Savage was actually good.
Shame they never did anything interesting with Savage. As soon as Maul came in he became a sidekick.
I think that’s the reason Savage was made; to bring Maul back.
Well yeah, but, they could have built some more on the power struggle between the two in Revival and Savage’s dying words. I felt Clancy Brown was wasted.
Agree with Roger. Savage could have been the NEW Darth Maul but, alas, he was lame and a throw away character in the end…
But Maul is awesome. 😛
I agree. With his strength and power Savage could have done way better things and dominated way more then he did in TCW. I think he would have made a great movie character as well.
Well he was able to keep his head above the water for a while fighting with Darth Sidious, for some 5 or 10 minutes I guess. Of course, Sidious very quickly finished him. I gotta say though Sidious is in love with playing with his rivals. He actually enjoyed breaking both Zabrak brothers. So even Maul who’s an amazing duelist had all odds against him.
This was an amazing episode! The duel between Ventress and Savage going hand to hand in combat was the best part if you ask me. Savage lost but he held his own against her for quite some time actually, although he wasn’t fighting that great but still :D.
I liked this episode. It had a dark mood (like when Savage killed Feral in cold blood). And I liked the trails.
