The packaging is basic, a card slip cover over a simple Blu-ray case containing 2 discs and no booklet.

First point of interest, Disc 1 starts with A War on Two Fronts, they’ve put Revival into it’s chronological place rather than the aired order.

Eminence and Shades of Reason are the only Director’s Cuts.

The Jedi Temple Archives are pretty limited. I haven’t looked through them all, but the few I did skip through were nothing exciting.

Every episode has a video commentary, a lot of it is stuff you’ve seen before, particularly the David Collins interviews which even reference being on star wars.com and most of the Dave Filoni clips are just the ones linked from the episode guides.

It seems that WB were handed content that already existed and had to make the best of it. As such this is the least impressive season as far as extras go. I’m delighted to have the episodes in HD to watch when I want of course, but that’s really all this is.

Video commentaries:

A War on Two Fronts has Ashley Eckstein talking about Ahsoka’s ‘feelings’ for Lux (I still hate this element BTW) and how she has developed as a character and her relationship with Anakin.

Front Runners it’s David Collins interviewing Dave Filoni about Onderon and how this arc shows the first seeds of the rebellion.

The Soft War has Matt Wood and Dave Acord discussing the soundscape for this episode.

Tipping Points, Kilian Plunkett talks about the design of Onderon and the rebels.

The Gathering, Dave Filoni talks about the construction of lightsabers and the Jedi Younglings arc.

A Test of Strength, Dave Filoni again focusing this time on Hondo with some thoughts from Jim Cummings.

Bound for Rescue, Matt Wood on General Grievous.

A Necessary Bond, Dave Filoni and Kilian Plunkett talking about Huyang.

Secret Weapons, Dave Filoni not surprisingly talking about droids.

A Sunny Day in the Void, writer Brent Friedman talks about the episode.

Missing in Action Dee Bradley Baker and Dave Filoni about Gregor and clones in general. Dave also reflects on this being the 100th episode.

Point of No Return, Stephen Stanton talks about Gascon and Dave Filoni discusses the space station and the explosion.

Revival, David Collins interviewing Dave Filoni and Sam Witwer talking about Darth Maul.

Eminence, Dave Filoni and Sam Witwer on Maul’s use of the Mandalorians, the Black Sun and other underworld scum.

Shades of Reason, Dave Filoni and Sam Witwer on Maul’s takeover of Mandalore.

The Lawless, more of the same.

Sabotage, Dave Filoni talks about the people questioning the Jedi and the war.

The Jedi Who Knew Too Much, Dave Filoni and Stephen Stanton on Tarkin.

To Catch a Jedi Dave Filoni on the Coruscant underworld.

The Wrong Jedi Ashley Eckstein and Dave Filoni on the final episode of the season. Clearly there were no updates provided
